Valerie D. Luckett has been working as a Communication Professional for the past 21 years at a Fortune 100 company. She is a loving mother, wife, and friend who represents kindness, class, style, and creativity. Showing her selflessness, faithfulness, and love for Christ as she works in multiple auxiliaries for her church. She joyfully volunteers as the Praise Dance Leader, Sunday School Administration, and Youth Volunteer at her church.
As a young child, she followed her grandmother around everywhere. She was her grandmother's Little Mini-Me. Cutting fresh flowers in her grandmother's first black-owned flower shop in the local community. Sitting at the typewriter in her grandmother's office and sitting on the edge of her bed watching her get ready for church. Sunday mornings are considered the foundation where Valerie grew in love with looking good and the process of beautification with style and clothing. Valerie is considered to be a shy and soft-spoken woman. However, her grandmother lit a fire in her that would soon come to life.
Little did Valerie know that her grandmother instilled strength, courage, faith, and strong will in her. Valerie may not step as high as her grandmother, The Diva, but every step from the path her grandmother created for Valerie birthed, D’LaVe. When D'LaVe steps, She is noticed.
This Diva is a true Fashionista who followed her love of fashion and launched her own business. When given the opportunity to be a Scarf-Art Ambassador, it opened the door to expand and share her love for women of fashion and all the beautiful accessories of life that make each woman unique. She launched Studio 259 Boutique and with the encouragement of her husband, utilized this business platform to encourage and uplift women.
